Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) assist in the distribution of communion. As ministers of holy communion, we bring the true presence of Jesus Christ to His people. Serving in this way implies a personal commitment to the Eucharist which includes weekly attendance at Sunday Mass.
This ministry is open to adults and youth who have celebrated Confirmation and who are free of any impediments to participating in the sacramental life of the Church.
Lectors proclaim God’s Word to the assembly, and thus, bring Jesus Christ to His people. Serving in this way implies a personal commitment to the Eucharist which includes weekly attendance at Sunday Mass.
This ministry is open to adults and youth who have celebrated Confirmation.
All Saints youth in grade 5 and older who have received their First Communion, are invited to become altar servers. Experienced servers may be trained as Lead Servers. Altar server training is offered periodically throughout the year. For more information email Kathy Borgen below.
Our mission: To welcome all guests as Christ. (Matthew 25:35)
Ushers create a welcoming environment at Mass and see to certain tasks that facilitate the flow of the Mass. In so doing, they help to make Mass a more reverent and prayerful environment.
Ushers may also help for our Advent and Lenten Reconciliation Days, which serve as a wonderful opportunity to make the Sacrament of Reconciliation available for our parishioners, faith formation students, and visitors.
Greeters welcome everyone who comes through the doors for Mass by intentionally engaging in one-on-one conversations with parishioners and guests in a friendly and authentic – but brief – way. They help those unfamiliar with our church find the location of restrooms, the nursery, assisted hearing devices, etc.
Greeters may also serve at our Advent and Lenten Reconciliation Days, which are a wonderful opportunity to make the Sacrament of Reconciliation accessible to our parishioners, faith formation students, and visitors.
A sacristan is needed for each Mass. This person arrives 30 minutes prior to Mass time and carefully sets out the items needed at the altar for the celebration of the Mass. They are also responsible for cleaning and putting away the sacred vessels when Mass is finished. Training and checklists are provided. Scheduling is flexible, depending on a person’s availability and preferred Mass times. This is a wonderful way to become better connected to our Sacred Liturgy.
Gift bearers perform the important task of walking in procession during the altar, carrying the host and the wine which will become the Body and Blood of Christ. This action is symbolic of the entire congregation’s part in offering the “fruits of our creation and the work of human hands”.
To serve as a gift bearer, come to the usher table at the back of the center pew and look for the small table that holds placards for each Mass. The ushers can assist you.

6:30pm Tuesday.
Both ministries are open to adults who have celebrated Confirmation. Daily Mass ministers are scheduled separately from weekend ministers.
