The word eucharist is derived from the Greek for Thanksgiving, and when we gather on Sunday as God’s people, we aim to praise, worship, and thank God for all He has given us. We thank Him for His presence and respond in thanksgiving for all the gifts, spiritual and material, that we have been blessed to receive. Our presence in the assembly is an act of thanksgiving, and likewise, our response to how we use God’s blessings.
In each Mass celebration, at the time of the offertory, we present the “work of human hands” that becomes our offering to God. In the modern world, the two things that most represent God’s blessings are our material goods and our time. Giving our time to come to Mass and our service to our community are acts of thanksgiving. In addition, uniting our financial resources with others to further the mission of Christ is also an act of thanksgiving.
Thank you for giving of yourself through the time you share weekly to gather for the celebration of the Mass as well as the gifts of your service to others. As we enter this time of reflection on the goodness of God, please prayerfully consider your acts of thanksgiving by sharing the fruit of your hands and your gift of time to our parish family for the coming year.

This is our general fund where donations are used to support the overall mission by helping to cover the fundamental costs of providing for liturgy, formation, programs, and ministries, including the costs of operating our building and compensating our employees. This is the most important of our funds as it provides the foundation of our day-to-day life as a community and allows us to address needs and projects without making special appeals.
These are essential supplements to our Sunday giving and operating funds. Occasionally these collections are earmarked for specific needs such as hunger relief in our community (Thanksgiving) and care and maintenance of sacred places in the Holy Land (Good Friday).
Individuals may donate to help cover the liturgical aesthetics, including flowers, related to the special liturgical seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and other special community liturgical events.
The school is a ministry of the parish. This fund is used to cover a portion of the annual expenses for utilities and building costs allocated to the school and special projects. It is designed for parishioners who have a heart for the school ministry or who may have employee match programs that are eligible for the school but not the parish. Please consult your employee match program to ensure All Saints Catholic School qualifies.
This fund is designed to create reserves for deferred and long-term maintenance for our building. This allows us to replace structural components of the building, such as the roof, HVAC units, and other capital improvements as the building ages.
This fund is used specifically to help provide scholarships for families in need to cover annual school tuition.
These funds are used as part of our response to the Gospel’s call to meet the needs of the least among us. (Matthew 25:40)
Emergency Relief: Funds are used for charitable outreach to support families and individuals in the local community who have basic and immediate financial needs.
Hunger Relief: Funds are used to directly assist in feeding the hungry both locally and globally. Activities currently supported include Loaves and Fishes, Dinner on the Hill, local food shelves, and Feed My Starving Children.
This fund is used for specific needs of the parish identified after the annual budget is approved.
Annual Events - Our Spring Gala, Garage Sale, and Fall Festival are our annual fundraising events. On behalf of the parish community, 10% of funds raised are tithed to support community outreach needs.
Both the youth ministry program and the school hold fundraisers throughout the year, including Dine-in Nights at local restaurants, waffle and omelet breakfasts, plant sales, and many other activities as unique ways to garner support.
Scrip - All Saints Catholic School operates and participates in a national scrip program that allows you to purchase physical and digital gift cards that give a rebate back to the school. It’s easy to participate in and it's a great replacement for cash/credit purchases that are both regular (like groceries and gas) and special (like restaurants or specialty stores).
Lakeville Brewing Company - Throughout the year, Lakeville Brewing Company. Ten percent of all sales on All Saints Days come back to All Saints Church and School youth programs.
Culvers - Throughout the year, Culver's in Lakeville hosts All Saints Day! When you order let them know you are from All Saints and 15% of sales come back to the school!
The All Saints Catholic Church Endowment Fund was established in 2021 to fulfill this call. The purpose of the endowment fund is to support the ministry and facility needs of the parish.
The original corpus or gift, and future contributions to the endowment fund, are invested in perpetuity with the earnings being used to support and enhance the mission of the parish. The purpose of an endowment fund is to provide a sustainable source of income for our parish community forever.
Future funding will be used to support one or more of the following ministries or programs:
- Capital Improvements and Maintenance: Finance improvements, maintenance, and repair of our campus buildings and equipment.
- Worship: Provides materials and equipment to maintain inspirational, dynamic liturgy and music for our parish community.
- Faith Formation: Enriches life-long faith formation and supports creative programs for parishioners ranging from early childhood to adulthood.
- Pastoral Care: Supports outreach and ministries to the elderly, homebound, sick, and grieving members of our parish community. Also provides emotional and spiritual care to those in crisis or life transitions such as marriage, divorce, and parenting.
