360 Communities’ Armful of Love supports families facing financial crisis, ensuring they can experience a happy Christmas. By providing gift cards for groceries and gifts, the program alleviates the increased financial burdens that often accompany this time of the year. Sharing & Caring Hands serves the needs of the poor and homeless in Minneapolis. We can support their work during the holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts in original packaging for children of all ages. There is a particular need for gifts appropriate for teenagers.
Gift ideas for teenagers: sweatshirts, slippers, socks, nail polish, makeup, basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls
Gift ideas for kids: Barbies, Tonka trucks, board games, and toys
Joseph’s Coat is an independent, inner-city free store in St. Paul serving persons in the community who are homeless or otherwise in need.
Gift ideas: Men’s and children’s winter coats, hats, mittens/gloves, children’s boots, men’s socks, diapers (size 5 & 6), wipes, sheets, blankets, pillows and towels
Bring Christmas cheer to the elderly residents of Ebenezer Ridges Care Center located in Burnsville. We are accepting donations of new, unwrapped gifts as specified on the purple tag or refer to the gift suggestions below.
